Make memories with your youth hockey player at our Avalanche Xpress Mite Outdoor Classic Tournament Series. Held over 10 weekends December through early March.

Weather permitting, all games will be played on our 60’x120’ outdoor rink. The perfect size for the U6/U8 player. Unless rink is determined unplayable and games will be held outdoors. Should the rink become unsafe or unplayable, arrangements have been made to move those games indoors.

Tournament Format

Games start on Friday at 5:30pm with the final Championship game, weather permitting, ending no later than Sunday 1pm.

Unless the weekend listed below has a designated, the levels are determined by the first teams to register for the weekend.

A typical weekend has 2- four team divisions. There will be an initial round robin play. Teams will be seeded 1-4. Teams 1 and 2 will play for the championship. Teams 3 and 4 will play a consolation game. This is the ideal structure. Team registration may dictate change.

There is a 3 game minimum, 5 game maximum guarantee, depending on division registration, with individual medals awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams and Champions Trophy awarded to 1st place team in each division. Tournament apparel will be available for pre-order and during the tournament.

TOURNAMENT PRICING AND MULTI-TEAM DISCOUNT

With 10 Dates to choose from, we offer Club discounts. Teams can do not have to participate on the same weekend. Teams do not have to register at the same time. Your price will be based on how many teams from your club have currently registered.

One Team – $725 per team   ($700 if paid in full by Oct. 16, 2019)

Two-Four Teams- $675 per team  ($650 if paid in full by Oct. 16, 2019)

Five or More Teams -$625 per team  ($600 if paid in full by Oct. 16, 2019)

Example: Your club registers 5 teams at once the club pays $625 per team. Or your club has one team register in August and you want to register a second team in October. First team paid $725 and the second team pays $675.

Stay and Play

This is a STAY to PLAY event. Your team must reserve 6 rooms for 2 nights each (12 room nights) for you team to play. Package prices listed are for Friday AND Saturday nights stay
